Welcome to the OPAL Open Fishing Tournament!
Join us in supporting the local community by participating in the OPAL Open.
Our goal support the local community by inviting everyone in the family to participate in the OPAL Open. We aim to bring economic growth to Wasco, Sheridan, and Umatilla Counties by encouraging anglers to camp and fish along the Columbia and John Day Rivers. With your support, we hope to raise $5,000 in conclusion of the contest. All proceeds made from the competition will go directly into the restoration of Philippi Park.
Dates
The OPAL Open Fishing Tournament runs from May 24th to September 2nd, providing ample opportunity for anglers to participate and contribute to our cause.

$20 entry fee
CHILDREN 11 AND YOUNGER ARE FREE BUT STILL NEED TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE A MAT.
*Children 11 and younger are NOT eligible to win the grand prize of $1,000 and will be offered a variety alternative of prizes from our sponsors*

- Measure the bass on your fishing mat
- Release the bass
